Leaves are turning, the air is cool and crisp and students are beginning to get antsy for a break…FALL IS HERE!
With rambunctious students, the staff at Blue Ridge Elementary School held their annual fall festival. Students attending would be in for a surprise upon arrival with the extensive variety of activities arranged for their enjoyment.
Halle Dilbeck waits patiently in line for her turn to bounce in the bounce house...as you can see, she has already been to the crazy hair station. Halle is the daughter of Daven and Alicia Dilbeck.
Whether it be the video game truck, the bounce house, the crazy hair or face painting stations, students were able to find fun around every corner. Other activities included a football and bean bag toss, a “jail”, a hay ride and much more.
With all of the entertainment provided for the kids, staff were sure not to leave adults out. Adult friendly activities included the cake walk, bingo and a silent auction. With over ten bundles of goodies up for grabs, the event was made possible by donations from parents and local businesses. Cakes for the cake walk were also provided by donations. Over 50 cakes, pies and cookies were up for grabs in the fun filled musical walk.
Students were also able to play a version of the famed game from the Price is Right called Plinko. Here, Connor Griffin is seen playing to see what kind of prize he will receive. Connor is the son of Chris and Melissa Griffin.
As the night came to an end, over 200 parents, students, grandparents and siblings had come out to support their school with fun and games.
