Densen Lloyd “Dee” Wright, age 59, of McCaysville, GA passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at Fannin Regional Hospital.He was born in Copperhill, TN to the late Denson Wright, Sr. and Jean Adale Wright. Dee had worked twenty years with TVA, owner of Dee’s Service Station in McCaysville, worked in McCaysville, Copperhill and Cleveland, TN as a police officer and a truck driver for Tri-state Concrete. He was of the Baptist Faith. Dee was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Orian Wright and sister, Gloria Jean Talley.

Survivors include his wife of twenty-seven years, Betty Wright of the home; three daughters, Natasha Curtis of Morganton, Katrina Parks of Morganton and Crystal Jones of McCaysville, GA; eight grandchildren, Chelsea Natasha Gibson, Hunter Calvin Parks, Riley Ethan Parks, Xander Evan Parks, Destiny Dockery, Crystal Dockery, April Dockery and Talyn Hunter Curtis.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jack Buchanan officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Woody, Shannon Wright, George Ensley, Lynn Panter, James Guinn and Gerald Webb. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Talley and Dennis Talley. Interment will follow at Barnes Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, April 1, 2013 after 1:00 p.m. but especially from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family request memorials to be made to Akins Funeral home to help defray final expenses.
