Daily Prayer: March 14, 2013
Philippians 1:19 “I know that through your prayers and the help given by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.”
O Lord of Glory, the extremities of life lead us to the helpless point of total dependence on the prayers of our friends that result in your divine help. When we face health declines in which there is no other answer we are totally dependent on our Christian friends who encourage us through their prayers. Your Spirit ministers to our spirit and gives courage in our innermost being.
Help us to know that the things that happen to us are not beyond your control or your ability to bring good out of it. It is true that our greatest victories spring from our weakest times.
If this person who now prays faces a life extremity, give this one the confidence of your divine deliverance. In the strong name of Jesus we pray.
