Blue Ridge Elementary held a Lunch & Learn event for the parents of their third grade students.
Each month the parent liaison, Nicole Schuknect and school counsler, Trista Gillispee host an event to educate parents on how to help their child(ren) succeed through the school year.
“According to their teachers, the most difficult thing for students to master is multiplication tables”
said Schuknect. The focus of the meeting was ways to help children practice their multiplication skills with various game ideas provided by the school. With over 20 parents in attendance for the event, it was a success and parents enjoyed getting to spend a little extra time with their child and learning tips to help their child have a successful year in third grade!
