“We earned everything we got. Missy, taking shot with her, they had to make two great throws. I thought the runs scored before they got her out a third. The kid’s going for a state record in triples, and so we don’t hold her up we just let her play, and they had to make two great throws we got her there and I just didn’t want to be second guessing myself.”
The Lady Rebels will host the first round of the playoffs Wednesday October 10th at 4pm.
Coach Dyer had nothing but praise for his team after the tournament.
“They’re great kids. They’ve battled all year. No one expected us to be here, nobody expected us to do this well.”
