The Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill announces the death of Mr. James Bernard “Jimmy” Chapman, II, age 59, of Blue Ridge, GA who passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2011. Jimmy was born in Nebraska on March 18, 1952 to the late James Bernard Chapman, Sr. and Rita Ann Shanahan Chapman. He was a journeyman electrician.

Survivors include, two sons, James Bernard Chapman, III of Texas and Joseph Deal Chapman of Copperhill, TN; daughter, Melissa Renee Chapman of McCaysville, GA; three brothers, Mikey Chapman of Texas, Tom Chapman of Florida and Will Chapman; one sister, Kathy Brackett of McCaysville, GA also survive.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Chapman will be cremated.
