Jane D. Wilkins

September 24, 1949 – October 28, 2018

Mrs. Jane Deloris Wilkins, age 69 of Morganton, passed away October 28, 2018, at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. Mrs. Wilkins was born September 24, 1949, in Marietta, GA to the late Earnest Felton Phillips and the late Modine Pearson Phillips. A member of Toccoa Baptist Church, Jane enjoyed going to church, spending time with her granddaughter, traveling and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dean Felton Phillips, and sister, Nancy Ruth Cheek.

Survivors include husband, George Joe-Dan Wilkins, son & daughter-in-law, Joseph (Christine) Wilkins, granddaughter, Sophia Wilkins, and sister, Patricia Oliver many nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 1:00 pm at the Toccoa Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Ritter and Rev. Phillip Green officiating. Music provided by J.W. Patterson and Karen Owens. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Larry Eubanks, James McGill, Homer Powell, Wayne Roberts, Edward Lewis, and Freddie Ballew, Honorary Pallbear, Johnny Montgomery.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge on Thursday, November 1, 2018, 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Friday, November 2, 2018, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
