Mr. Edward “Lynn” Pittman, age 66, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 in the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Lynn was born in McCaysville, GA on July 21, 1951 to the late Otis Pittman and Ethel Flowers Pittman. He worked at TVA as an electrician. He was a member of Bethel Church, was a member of I.B.E.W. Local #175, and was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years Cynthia Cheatham Pittman of Mineral Bluff; son and daughter-in-law, Heath and JoJo Pack of Ellijay, GA; daughter, Kandice Pack Baker of Murphy, NC; mother, Ethel Flowers Pittman of St. Marys, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Norma Pittman of Jasper, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Jim Johnson of St. Marys, GA; grandchildren, Wiley Baker, Jesse Queen, and Clay Pack; and nieces and nephews, Missy Johnson Rodgers Karen Pittman Mallory, Matt Pittman, and Michael Pittman.

Church services in conjunction with a celebration of life for Lynn was held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from Bethel Church with Rev. Doug Payne officiating. Music was by T.C. and Benny Pickelsimer and Rick Curtis. Pallbearers were Sam Lewis, Rick Curtis, Butch Pittman, Michael Pittman, Matt Pittman, Steve Cheatham, and Terry Dickey. Honorary pallbearers were the Deacons and Trustees of Bethel Church. Interment followed in Bethel Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bethel Church Building Fund. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of arrangements.
