Ten Fannin County High school HOSA members participated in the Georgia HOSA Fall Leadership Conference November 5-6 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta. HOSA advisor Anne Soriero said the students attended leadership and team building workshops, they were also able to network with healthcare students from across Georgia. Some students competed at the conference and Abbey Arvidson received second place in the Speaking Skills competitive event. After the conference, the students toured Chattahoochee Technical College in Marietta, the tour focused on the Health Science programs offered at Chattahoochee Tech.
