Mr. Floyd Elmer Suit, age 77, of Mineral Bluff. GA, received his Angel Wings on June 24, 2014 at 5:45 a.m., surrounded by his family.Born in Polk County, TN, he was the son of the late Cling A. Suit, Sr. and Velma Dalton Suit. He served his country in the United States Army from 1954 thru 1957. Mr. Suit had worked for a number of years for the Tennessee Chemical Company. He was also preceded in death by brothers, Gail Suit and Cling A. Suit, Jr.; sisters, Betty Sue Talley and Glorajean Suit.

Survivors include his wife of fifty five years, Reathel Wright Suit of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Angela Suit of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Bobby Danner and Sheila and Larry Harper all of Copperhill, TN; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda) Danner, Jacob (Natasha) Harper, Joshua Suit and Lindsey (Nick) Jones; great grandchildren, Lacey Danner, Autumn Hyde and Kaden Harper; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Joann Suit of Greensboro, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Frank Ensley of Chattanooga, TN; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Arias and Rev. Will Witte officiating. Music will be provided by William Wright. Interment will follow in the Pan-Will Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jeremy Danner, Jake Harper, Bobby Danner, Larry Harper, Nick Jones and Kris Harris. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Suit, Kaden Harper, Clifton Deal and Brandon Wright. Rev. Randy Hooper will officiate the graveside services followed by full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-9 p.m. For those desiring memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s association.
