The following students participated in the Junior Team at the Cotton Boll Competition in October 2013:

These students learned about the importance of:
*cotton as an agricultural commodity
*making knowledgeable, rational decisions when purchasing goods and services
*being a responsible consumer-citizen with an understanding of the rights and responsibilities of the consumer, business, and government
The competition tested the individuals understanding in each area. Each participant also created a commercial and pitched the commercial in front of a team of judges. We are happy that our Fannin 4-H Junior team placed 4th in the competition. Congratulations!
The following students participated in the GA District Project Achievement Competition, November 2013:
