SWAN Drive In Provides Weekend Entertainment

Community

The Swan Drive In experienced the benefits of their recent upgrade to digital equipment during Memorial Day Weekend. With a new sequel to the movie Fast and Furious, a holiday weekend, pretty weather and upgraded equipment, Swan Drive In owners, Steve and Kathleen Setser had a packed house.

“People drove in, walked in and, eventually, we just had to turn people away because there was nowhere to put them”

said Kathleen.

While there were several new faces on the scene from tourists abroad coming to visit, one face did remain the same. Steven Setser, grandson of Steve and Kathleen, took his usual spot on the bench in the concession stand playing his guitar, providing entertainment for the, what seemed to be a, mile long line outside the building.

“I get tips”

said Steven.

“I’m saving my money for law school”

he continued.

No doubt about it, Steven, Mr. & Mrs. Setser and the rest of the employees enjoyed a new movie, some new faces and a faster pace of work to make the night pass by.
