Mr. Willie Lee Payne, age 65, of Epworth, GA passed away on February 24, 2013 in the Fannin Regional Hospital.Born in Polk Co. TN, he was the son of the late Morris Burnette and Amy Arvlene Patterson Payne. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include one brother James F. Payne of Epworth, GA; three sisters, Christine Cook and Irene Allen both of Blairsville, GA and Lorene Clowers of Cleveland, TN; and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday February 27th, at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Henry Payne officiating. Music will be provided by Hoyt and Martha Hammock. Interment will follow in the Mt. Liberty Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Edgar Cantrell, Ed Ernest Cantrell, Fred Hall, Danny Payne, Darrell Payne and Derrick Payne.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5-9 p.m.
