The Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces Services for Mr. Lawrence “Larry” Earl Usher, age 92 of Hiawassee, who passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Brasstown Manor. Larry was born Saturday, April 12, 1919 in Miami County, Indiana to the late Every & Mary (Mallott) Usher. Mr. Usher served in the U.S Airforce and was a WWII Veteren. Larry was also active and a Life Member in the American Legion Post 47 in Lakeworth, Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis M. Usher.

Survivors include his Son, Dennis Usher of West Palm Beach, Florida and Daughter, Pamela Andrews of North Ridge, California. Larry is further survived by his grandchildren and will be missed by many extended family members and close family friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating. Music will be provided by Ralph Nichols. Pallbearers will be Matthew Allen & Paul Usher.
